Jet Center at Santa Fe will deliver a second fixed base operator (FBO) back to the Santa Fe Airport May 2015, effectively ending the long-standing monopoly now held by Landmark Aviation.  With a unanimous vote by the Santa Fe City Council, and full support from the Mayor’s Office, Jet Center at Santa Fe (JCSF) marks an exciting return for a savvy, well-respected group of veterans with more than 75 years of experience between them.

Santa Fe and Scottsdale Air Center co-owners Herb Marchman and Ron Tarrson, Flight Partners president John Marchman, and former general manager of Santa Fe and Scottsdale Air Centers Troy Padilla, are the executive team behind JCSF providing full FBO services for the flying public, including commercial airlines, private charters and corporate aircraft.  Santa Fe Air Center was an eight-time recipient of ExxonMobil Aviation’s Gold Service Award. In its second year of operation, Scottsdale Air Center ranked as Aviation International News’ third FBO in the United States with consistent top rankings through the ownership period.

The founders bring their legacy of award-winning customer service to the Santa Fe aviation community paired with on-point logistical services and vast knowledge of detail-oriented customer service creating uniquely personal experiences. JCSF’s arrival marks a tremendous boon for the city, providing an impeccable first impression of Santa Fe for business, cultural and political leaders, celebrities and artists the moment they set foot on the tarmac.

JCSF leased approximately 5 acres of vacant land to construct a new terminal, two new heated hangars with more than 32,000 square feet, a new fuel farm, and full service maintenance and avionics in affiliation with Santa Fe Aero Services.  During the construction of its new facilities, the Avfuel-branded FBO will operate out of a temporary, ramp-side terminal, offering an amenities-rich passenger waiting area, a private pilot lounge, briefing rooms, Wi-Fi and plane-side car service.
